LSSM Partners with The Missouri Bar and MSU on Diversity Conference

Legal Services of Southern Missouri (LSSM) has partnered with The Missouri Bar and Missouri State University (MSU) to sponsor a CLE on diversity. The CLE will be held in conjunction with the MSU’s Public Affairs Statewide Collaborative Diversity Conference.
The CLE is scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2015, at MSU and will feature the following:
2:00 p.m. Building Bridges: Lessons Learned from Ferguson -Reuben Shelton, General Counsel, Monsanto and The Missouri Bar Association President
3:00 p.m. Community Racial Disparities – Panel Discussion - Missouri State Public Defender System General Counsel Michael Barrett, Greene County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Patterson, Springfield Police Department Captain David Millsap, and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri Staff Attorney Amanda Schneider
4:00 p.m. Ethical Issues of Communicating with Your Client – Understanding Diverse Backgrounds - Susan Appelquist, Esq. and Abram McGull, Assistant U.S. Attorney, Department of Justice
You may register for the entire Diversity Conference which includes the CLE at $150 or you may register for the CLE only at $90. This program has been approved for 3 MCLE credit hours, including 1 hour of ethics.
